a 1v1 ladder sounds more feasible.  takes less organization and you only need to coordinate 2 schedules instead of 4.  you don't need to play on a regular basis like you do on a league, just whenever someone feels like challenging another player.

I'd be happy to rank a 1v1 and 2v2 ladder, but not interested in a league.  It takes too much time/effort an rarely works these days.  I think I read on this forum recently about a CTF league that everyone seemed interested in but it never actually happened.  Even if the league does start up this time you'll find that people won't turn up on the appropriate day, many games end in defaults, people pull out of the league which knackers up the schedule, bollocks to that, been there done that, pain in the bum.

I'm not trying to be critical, I commend you for organizing this.  I just think it might be better the other way around.  Ladders are less time consuming I think, there are no set dates for matches and such, so busy people who would otherwise not join might be more inclined to play.

He has already said that the first match in the tournament is going to be T! and I vs. h0ps and crow. Obviously, he thinks we don't stand a chance. Is that supposed to scare me?? LOL!
I tied crow 1on1, so crow knows he is no better than me. As far as h0ps is concerned, he has trouble keeping up with two opponents at the same time. His strategy will fall apart.

1.  You don't know what "teamwork" means
2.  You can't disconnect in this or you're out.
3.  You don't stand a chance at beating hops and crow. if you and T! manage to beat hops and crow I'll quit q2 forever.
4.  You tied crow when he was hungover and he's since beat you (or made you disconnect, however you want to put it) as many times as I have if not more (which is the reason you're banned from match servers retard).
5.  As far as hops is concerned, keeping up with two oponents when one of them is yellowfire is not much of a challenge, but he's not alone, so I don't know what you're talking about on that one.

dont know, ok so theres a few things here guys

1. theres 9 teams, we can play a round robin, team with the worst record will not be able to play in the tourney. if there is a tie, the 2 teams face off in 1 map randomly chosen , the team that wins will be allowed to be in the tourney.

2. randomly draw a team from the hat and that team will not play

3. we get 7 more teams to enter and have a 16 team tourney

NP, my dad always made brackets for tournaments at family reunions and other things and was an ASA umpire so I learned from him.

brackets are set, waitin on worm to post the pages and you can all review the rules and see the tourney and who you play first and how the tournament works.

heres a summary of round 1.

game 1 - nitemare walker and recon vs. target and rusty
game 2 - slasher and bishop vs. yellowfire and T!
crow and hops drew the bye and will play the winner of kismet/mj and frk/leg
game 3 - kismet and mikejones vs. freak and legend
game 4 - degen and ksoul vs. wake and rogue
