Rail maps

Would it be possible to add rail maps to the server, so when it's late at night and we don't have enough players to make teams we can just rail each other?

2 or 3 small rail only maps would be nice.

We have CTF servers, not DM servers. Changing mods on the public CTF server wouldn't be a good idea. 

But.....if you're talking about rail only CTF, then different story. Our TMG Railwarz server is rail only, I'm sure Tampa and a few others would enjoy a game with you on it. -=ACME-CTF ~ TMG Railwarz=- 208.43.95.250:27915 with off-hand laser hook and rail only CTF, the fastest mod you will ever play!

Other choices....

If everyone agrees, mapvote wtfctf2a...that's Buckeyed Piece with rail only and speed techs on a very small map. I can set it for weapons stay and unlimited ammo if you want, let me know.

Or if everyone wants to rail only on other maps, agree to that and go for it on whatever map you want.

Or, am I missing something here? I'm open to anything that you guys want as long as it's not detrimental to the server.

hard to believe im saying this but you are even more annoying on the forum than you are on the server...

I understand it's  a Ctf server, but times changes we are few players left we have to adapt.   Like for example we rarely play a Quad PS map these days because a lot of players won't play it. A lot of players remaining prefers the Railwarz still of play with light armor and no Quad,  and they probably would remove all armors if they had a choice.

I tried  wtfctf2a twice, it's not what i had in mind.  If you could throw any RAIL map on the server like the small ones available on the RAILZ tastyspleen server I think it would be useful at the begining of the night while waiting for enough players to start a decent game and late at night.    Plus we already have RA intermission that's not exactly CTF!.   Lots of players don't like to play 1 on 1 they wait for more, but i know they would play RAIL only.  No need to have it in rotation just available for mapvote is perfect.


Never seen or heard of this Tampax guy, is he good?

You do know that we've always had DK's favorite rail map available; lm2rail with low gravity. 
I have added these two maps to list so they can be started by mapvote from players or changemap from admins:

1) Light Rail by Linux, (mapvote lrail), which is a very small CTF map with rails only. Probably not going to be fun in my opinion.

2) Levels by Vertigo5, (mapvote levels), a nice, small multi-level rail only map.

See how this goes.

Excellent, but maybe it would be better to change the time from 20 minutes to 10 minutes or even 8 minutes.
