Server Connnection

I connected to the public server on Friday and then on Sat and Sun I could not connect. I tried through gametracker and through gamespy. Actually gamespy will not update the server status.  I also tried connecting directly through quake. No luck.   It is like the server address is blocked.   Any suggestions??
And yes all antivirus and firewalls where off.

What message do you get when trying to connect? Anything?

You are connecting from the IP you posted from, I assume. I see you connected Friday and nothing in logs shows a problem then or afterwards. Your subnet is not on banned list.

ASE will continue to work if you keep the servers in your favorites list but it won't browse like it used to because Yahoo killed the scanner servers, etc. GS is dead but the same situation applies, masters are dead. R1ch's browser and Xfire are about the only game browsers left. At least Xfire will scan what your buddies use in their lists, etc.

It sounds like you were black-holed on the server but if Worm says your IP wasn't on the list then it should have been visible.
