Honestly, I haven't been playing on ACME as much lately either. I played a few matches last night before we all moved to tastyspleen because the guys felt sorry for me (or so they said =P) because I was lagging like all hell. My connection to the server has gone to shit lately and I don't remember the last time I was on the pub with anything more than 10% connection quality. Combine that with all the bad attitudes and it's just not an enjoyable situation at all.

I admit that I've been part of the problem at times. I do have anger management issues - hence the name - and for a long time I was using CTF as a means to let loose because I honestly have days where sometimes I want to go outside and murder some random motherf*cker just for being near me. If Q2 didn't exist I'd probably have been in and out of jail/prison more times than you can count.

But using CTF to cope just doesn't work anymore. I've made my share of enemies and been unnecessarily rude to people at times. I think bad attitudes are contagious. Someone says some shit to you and it rubs you the wrong way, and you chew out the next person who says something for no reason other than because you can. I mean, it's not like they know who you are or can come to your house to start shit, so you act as badly as you want.

I've been playing RA2 more lately, because in my experience RA2 players aren't so intolerable. I actually had a pretty good RA2'er giving me tips and stuff a couple days ago and I'd never even really seen the guy before then. I don't think anyone that plays ACME would do that now (even though h0ps, riles, and greenz all did for me when I started playing here).

I started playing here randomly almost two years ago, and I kept coming back because I liked the community - most everyone was pretty cool - but now it's not like that anymore. There's all sorts of cliques and shit and it's torn apart the feel that kept me coming back. I idle on vent more these days than I used to just 'cause some of the negativity in there puts me in a bad mood.

Much as any of you, I've met some people I like and some that I don't. h0ps has always been pretty chill to me and most of the time is quite respectful and classy when I talk to him. I love Riles' sense of humour. dirt, oh man... dirt... I just fuckin' love that guy. There's so many more people I could name here but this post is already pretty long. I don't regret being here but I do regret some of the things I've done while here.

Also, Marla, one thing in particular that I've wanted to say to you for a while - just never really was the right time - was that I'm sorry for teasing you about when Louisiana lost your student loan/grant paperwork stuff. I can imagine that's a huge bitch, but I was in a sarcastic mood that day and said what I said. That's just my sense of humour. I did not in anyway intend to offend you and I'm sorry for that. You've bothered me sometimes, but everyone's got their certain aspects to them that just don't translate well through pixels on a screen, here on the boards or in a game, and I imagine you'd probably be pretty chill to hang with in person. Honestly, I believe that about 98% of people are good people, it's just the other 2% that fuck it up for everyone else.

Marla, I hope you find joy in your life, in whatever way you desire. Take care of yourself.

I also hope the same for all of you, regardless of anything I've previously said or done to you. Life is hard, there really isn't any good reason for us to make it harder on each other.
