Here's a thought...I can copy all Q2 servers over to Dallas box, redirect connects in from acmectf to acmegamers, everyone thinks they are connecting to old box but get connected to new one.     

Actually, I think it would be a great idea.  IMHO, L3 gets tons of DOS attacks especially from that one node in Washington D.C.  It often disrupts game play.  Secondly, the server used to house Last Resort is somewhat flaky.  I remember when the server would consistently PJ for all of us, 10 seconds at a time.  I think moving the server to Dallas would make Last Resort a lot more stable with less downtime.  JMHO.

true story =P

here's an idea:

since the old Pub II is now lasermine, redirect from acmectf to acmegamers when the main pub is full.  alternately, people can choose to connect to the central box if they so choose.  This would be good for when players don't want to wait for a bad map to finish or just want a smaller game.
