yes i see your point dirt, but you're talking about what you consider maintenance. you take things in to get maintained/checked, myself, if its something i can fix myself, i will. ie: if i get sick, ill rest/take cough syrup , if im not better in a few days then ill go to a doctor. the only my doctor takes my weight/blood pressure is usually if its something that i dont know is going on, or im going for a physical, which i dont normally do.  maybe im stupid for not doing things your guys way, but its how i work, if i can fix it, ill fix it, if i cant then i goto the doctor/mechanic to get what needs to be fixed
