Purge probably since the entrances to each base pretrude a bit on the bottom of the tower.

I remember stacking something like 20 people (server limit was 24) on Outlands. Then Vapid got on top of us with amp and shot a rail straight through everyone. Was pretty cool, but ended the stacking. I had the demo/ss, but I lost them awhile ago. Just mentioning that 20 was the highest I had seen in Q2.

i'd be glad to set up a server w/ that map and everything, could lower grav bit more if it'd help as well, if anyone wants to anymore, and if i get my computer up and running again, i've been doing this at school for a while now
but i'm getting some help from squeaky and everything so... yea i'll see if i can do that IF and only IF we have a significant amout of people who want this, i'm not gonna wast my bandwidth for 3 people

ok, mr. thread necromancer.
anyway, i remember some friends of mine tried to see how many people dying at once that a server could handle... I think they used q2dm8's bottom floor (by the box conveyor) and had everyone stand in a straight line while one guy took a railgun and strength rune (this was on a lithium server back in the day) and railed the line. they added people to the line until the server crashed with the shot... i want to say it died at 26 but i can't really remember... this was in like 2002 or something.

I know this is completely on topic....but who cares its a old thread anyways!
One time there was a bunch of us "venters" playing on the Pub, it was something like 12v12 and one person on my team was AFK, so I ran over and jumped on their head (up near RL). Next thing I know someone jumped on my head, and then another etc...
Well there was about 8 of us stacked up and [Sly] comes trough the door with quad and chains us all to death. It probly wasn't much to see for anyone else on the server but everyone on vent erupted into laughted. Probly in my top 10 vent moments.

The highest q2 stack, on a pub, that I can recall, is when myself, animal, cartman, yellowfire and stonecold faced off against es-dragoon, rd-vichy, ie.Vim, pm-lazarus and v23.e (skint).
