These are just some different jumps that I found to be cool or useful. They are in the folder Twitch, which is where I plan to upload any demos I make. Comments or suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Added 2 new jumps from Bletey's Blues. Added a clones jump (not impressive at all). Added McShminley window grapple. Added a jump from Dakyne (mega health, then a quick jump). Added a jump from slippery when wet (jump to ammo pack).

ps - h0ps I did that lush window long before anyone, didn't even know anyone else did it.

I haven't watched the demo of the bletyes elevator one, but its probably just a DJ to the railgun, i like doing that in game, but it is kind of tough especially with all the spam you get on a pub game.

I suppose I could post some ownage moves of my own.. but then everyone would want to do them....

h0ps: start a new thread for fast caps, and upload some of yours. I think people would be impressed/want to try to tie or beat them (mainly me).

well, unfortunately i dont have my fastest recorded, I think i only have a SS of it on my old computer.. On cacophony
For anyone to try, my record is (going from RED to BLUE) 8.4 seconds.  I know i have 8.7 on demo, maybe 8.6..

From BLUE to RED: I have 8.8 seconds...

Also on lfctf7 McShminely - I beat grunts record, my fastest is 9.0 seconds.. that could probably be improved but thats where it stands at now, once I gather these demos from my old computer, ill set up something or post them on here..
I don't have an FTP, never really used any of that stuff, so i don't really know how to set one up.. Although now after reading up, i can see that i can just use acme's..

never saw the 8.4.. but I've got the 8.6 laying around here somewhere.....(of you of course, not me  )

My guess would be the 8.4 is with a rocket jump.  But it still counds if you ask me.

You can now access all the uploaded demos, tricks, etc from our downloads page, http://acmectf.com/downloads/ , under Demos-Tricks directory.

The FTP points to that folder so you can upload and save me the trouble of moving them to make easier for the more technologically challenged to download. 

This folder also contains a lot of demos uploaded by others...some interesting ones too.

No rage, thats 8.4 with grapple/strafing - no rocket jumps. I never do rocket jumps, thats cheating.

I have this one demo, where this guy does virtually all jumps on the edge, actually, he does do ALL jumps, at least I think. It's pretty sweet. Poloasity is his name if anyone's heard of him.

OK.. good idea on the whole tricks of the trade thread but..
how about someone posting some FAQS/tips for editing demos? and software?
no point in posting a 10 minute demo when the "trick" happens at 8 minutes into it.
what software to use to fast forward a demo while you're at it?

and when you're done putting all of that into one post I'm sure an admin around here would be more than happy to make that badass little post a sticky.
