Server Rules - updated 6/15/07

Yea, there are a few and the basics are.....

1) No cheats!! That means no bots, speed hacks, nosepaks/spiked models, wallhacks, use of banned clients, autotimers that require no player activation, etc., etc., and so on. If you cheat, you will be banned. Period. End of discussion. Your IP and reason for the ban here will also be shared with other server admins so don't be surprised when you find yourself not able to connect to a substantial number of servers that currently share this information.

2) Don't let trash talk get out of hand, respect other players. This is a public server and all are welcome but we do not tolerate any bigotry, racism or hate toward anyone. In other word, treat others as you would like to be treated. No obscene or offensive names allowed, you may be warned or not and/or your name be changed by the server or not but if you use persist in using offensive names you will be banned. Censor is on by default and those that wish have the option of turning it off by typing "nocensor" in your console. Circumvention of the censor to display your cursing or obscenitites to those that have not used the option of nocensor is offensive and will not be allowed. This is a public server and we will not tolerate abusive and obnoxious behaviour.

3) Please do not remain as spectator when the server is full, there are others waiting to join in and you are taking up a slot that someone else needs to play. If you need a break, exit and return later. A full server for the pub is 24 slots, not counting admins, if there are 24 players you best be shooting at somebody!

4) Respect the server. We provide it for all to enjoy and we only ask that you do not abuse it. We do not appreciate comments like "this server sux", "ghey maps", etc. Think it sucks? Then file for a refund and go elsewhere. Do not spam our server with advertisements for others. We don't do it elsewhere and don't expect you to do it here. Also, respect other servers, there is no reason to disrespect any other server no matter what conflicts you might have had there. Keep the personalities out of the game.

5) Respect the admins, they are an easy-going bunch. We pride ourselves in letting everyone enjoy the server without undue interference, but when an admin asks you to refrain from something, to even up teams, to join up or make room for others when the server is full, etc., please do as asked. Admins usually give more than one warning before booting anyone so pay attention, they are only trying to maintain a minimum level of decency here. If you find yourself booted and/or banned without warning it is more than likely you were not paying attention to the console or your infraction was unusually severe.

6) Team switching or stacking to unbalance teams will not be tolerated!! This is a fun game and absolutely no tolerance will be shown to those that dick around in games in any way that hinders the play of the teams, including, but not limited to, team switching to unbalance teams, hiding with flags, holding flags and not capping to drive up individual score, intentional blocking of teammates access to items, manipulations of scores to drive up stats, or any other action or non-action that we deem detrimental to the flow of the game. So there!

Any and all questions about the server are welcome, post in the Request section of the forum what you would like to see about the server and we will try to accommodate you, within reason. Complaints and abuse can be directed to me, just be gentle...you may e-mail me through the forum if you like or, if urgent, contact me in our IRC channel, #acme, on irc.accessirc.net or through ICQ. You can usually find at least one admin in IRC unless they are in game.

Please pay attention to all rules. I am very easy going and, as you all know, adverse to bans unless absolutely necessary but I have no tolerance for disrespect from anyone. If you think you know how to run a server better, then go start your own.

It all boils down to......just use common sense and have fun, it's only a game!!!
