Quake 4 is pissing me off? hehe

I have yet been able to connect to a server online Sad

I can fix the not having the maps or files ect ect , But whats realy anoying me is , while trying to connect to a server? it shows the loading screeen waiting for Authorization then bamm? quake 4 quits and it kicks me to the desktop , No error message or anyhting


In game? server browser works ect ect? , I turn off? software firewall? ?even went into my router and set this box to DMZ , Nothing seems to help :/

Hmm I,ll bypass my router later this week and take it out of the equation and see how it works

I just dont know what else it would be :/

This is only one of the many reasons we're dropping the Q4 servers.

I have PB turned on and have tried it off   no help either way Sad

I sent a message to Activision support  yesterday  and i,m still waiting on a responce ,  Lets see what kinda mumbo jumbo they send me hehe

sometimes pb jams when router's cannot accept messages from pb.net, i have had this problem also, in the past. The best thing to do is either manually open a port that accepts pb.net files/updates....get rid of any firewall that's up and running at the time you are playing, or get a new router to connect your computer. Well taking the linksys router out didnt help a thing :/

Was just thinking of what <[Capit]>  said about PB ,  I play alot of quake 3 and PB has always worked in it

So hell I give up,  Activision support has not goten back to me yet and i ran out of thing to try to figure this  shit out :/
