He said i lose by disquailification, lol, whatever he tries to say, its obvious that i was winning before he tried to stop it, i did have to give him some kills/caps otherwise he would have quit on me..

1 on 1 in CTF I assume? I can't figure out how to play a demo.
 I have seen team minded players beat the better talent in ctf. Only 1 on 1 DM matches have any meaning in Q2, in my opinion. I played a guy once for fun in a 1 on 1, repeatedly out fragged him but he knew which part of the map not to cross so the spawn would place me out of reach - he won as someone had to cross the line.
 I don't know why Yellow intentionally antagonizes other players - attention I guess.

The reason why this is so funny is because yellowfire, much like sly, claims he is "in another league" from every other ctf player.  Then when you challenge him to a 1v1 to back up his flapping off at the gums, he comes up with excuse after excuse why he won't play you.  Does the saying put up or shut up come to mind?  If youre gonna run off at the mouth at least be willing to play those you talk trash to.  It's like the RL equivalent of road rage, except when the guy youre tailgating and making obscene gestures at follows you and gets outta his car, you hightail it and run away, like a bitch.

Do i really cheat?? I use the most updated no-cheat client, i have never been caught cheating, and trust me, dirty whore has scanned my computer more than once.. i have never been kicked from a server for cheating..

Well sly, it looks like you lose, its HILARIOUS when people who aren't as good like to make accusations about someone else, when you really dont have any evidence except for the fact, that "you think" i do, and thats all that matters.. Sly, get over yourself, its getting quite old...

First of all, it was not an official 1on1 match. Second, my mouse has been acting crazy recently, and I need to get a new one (spec me in-eyes if you don't believe me). Third, lag was also playing a part.
We started to play, I allowed him to get a couple of caps just to make the game more fair, seeing as how h0ps isn't in my league. I believe the score was 3 - 2 his favor, when all of a sudden I started getting phonejacks. I told him to 'holdup' while I attempted to fix the problem (which can be seen on the demo). He decides to kill me and cap-out ASAP. Aparrently he though I was quite a threat, as he wanted to end the match quickly.
If you could REALLY beat me, don't you think a 6 - 0 cap-out would have humiliated me? It sure would have, but you couldn't do it.
[Two people are playing in a big tennis match, someone from the crowd runs down and spills a bucket of oil on my side of the court, I say 'holdup!' while I attempt to clean it up, and my opponent starts hitting balls over the net and calling them points. Fair? I think not.]
I won by disqualification. Rematch? Any time.
PS: Sly should look in the mirror before he criticizes other people's skills, considering his undercard status and trash talking has labeled him as a walking joke.

Yowza is right, 1 vs 1 in CTF is really meaningless. It's a team game. 1 vs 1 in deathmatch if you feel you must "prove' something  

Yowz...unzip the file to quake 2\crf\demos, start q2, bring down console and type set game ctf if you aren't already in ctf mode, in console again type demomap h0ps-yellow.dm2 to play the demo. Oh..create the directory demos if it doesn't exist.

hahaha... you make it sound like you ever had a chance, which you did not. i thought it was 4-2 when you said holdup, but infact, it was 5-2, right after i cap you say hold up, and start whining becuase you realize you started getting wasted. I could have 6-0'd you but that would be no fun and you would probably leave. I wanted to hear all of your excuse about why you got wasted, so everyone could see it, on demo. So it's evident that i win, 8-2 capout, or 5-2 before you say hold up.... Yellowfire undefeated 1v1... haha, looks more like you wouldn't win one even if you played a blind kid... and what makes it an "official" match.. do we have to have a server admin be our referee and call all the shots?? haha, idiot

If I didn't have a chance, then how did I get two caps?
There is nothing on the demo that shows you ALLOWED me to get those caps. You were trying your hardest to beat me, and it didn't work, admit it.
If you actually had 6 - 0'd me, I would have probably quit Q2 forever in embarassment, but we both know that will never happen... especially not with YOU as my opponent.
If you were supposedly so "in control" of the situation, then why didn't you holdup when I asked you to? Were you afraid that I would finish you off? We both know that was the next step.
So quit your bragging... you did nothing.
PS: An official match would not have taken place on a public server, also there would have been more spectators to ensure fair results.

Well I just watched the demo, and a few comments:

It is clear that h0ps is speedbotting. The choppy quality of his movements, and the relative slowness of his opponent, is reminiscent of the speedbotters that were common a couple years ago, before nocheats chased most of them away. I suspect he might be using a modified form of FRKQ2 or another client-side proxy.

That being said, I did think h0ps might have been slightly better as a player. But 1v1 dm on a ctf map, as other have pointed out, is meaningless. And what ctf player really cares who is the best deathmatcher? It is the best team player who I value the most.

For those who think cheating is impossible on the latest version of q2admin, you are living in a crack dream Several players actively cheat on worm's server. But as none of them is particularly flagrant, I really don't mind. I can handle a 10-20% timescale cheat, or the occasional aimbot, as long as there enough good players (or speedbotters) on each side to balance out.

Those of you interesting in learning more about security on q2 servers can PM me. Suffice to say that at this time it is wide open to cheating.

If we don't want to allow cheating, then I would respectfully suggest we consider moving over to iENO's new, secure q2 client/server project:

I know there are good railers out there, and I mainly just keep an eye out for unknown players that repeatedly make midair 360 through some pillars and around a teamate shots.

After watching their spam, and getting hit with several of these types of rails, I'll spec the person and watch them miss 20 in a row, even simple point blank rails.
